Vendor & Guests Rules & Guidelines

All reptiles, amphibians and arachni must be healthy and legal to sell in the state of Michigan, in accordance with the guest rules. Vendors must adhere to the reptile expo guidelines, which state that no venomous reptiles of any kind, including rear fang species, are allowed. Additionally, no wild-caught animals or escaped animals may be sold. Each vendor/exhibitor is responsible for ensuring that no animal escapes its enclosure and must take responsibility for the return of any escaped animal.

Each vendor/exhibitor is exclusively liable for any damage to property or personal injury resulting from handling their live animals on the host facility premises, in accordance with the guest rules and reptile expo guidelines. 

Vendor / Exhibitor Badges. All staff working a table are required to have a badge. Each vendor/exhibitor will be issued two badges if required, following the vendor rules.

Guests  are permitted to bring one reptile into the venue, adhering to the guest rules. However, it is important to note that reptiles cannot be brought in for the purpose of selling: only show vendors are allowed to sell animals, in accordance with the vendor rules. Any violations of the Reptile Expo guidelines may result in guests being asked to leave.

In accordance to ZAA and USDA guidelines service dogs or any dog is prohibited from the Event Center. The event center is on zoo property.  All

Table Limit: In accordance with the vendor rules, no vendor or exhibitor will be allowed more than 8 tables at the time of booking. 

Single Table is $40.00; for 2 or more, the cost is $35.00 per table. 

Deposit: To comply with the reptile expo guidelines, vendors are required to pay a 50% deposit to hold their table or tables. This deposit must be made within two weeks prior to the show. This policy is in place to ensure that only serious vendors and exhibitors participate, allowing us sufficient time to secure another vendor if necessary, in line with the guest rules.
